Erasmus + "e-OpenSpace: EUROPEAN INNOVATIVE OPEN PLATFORM

First Transnational meeting of the Project’s Consortium in Sofia

On November 6, 2017 representatives of the Bureau of the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection in Poland took part in the First Transnational meeting of the partners of the project “e-OpenSpace” which is financed by the European Commission Erasmus + "Key Action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices, KA204 - Strategic Partnership for adult education". The meeting, which was organized by the coordinator of the project - Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection, was an opportunity to discuss issues related to the project management, financing, reporting and documentation. Also, the project’s partners (the Inspector General for Personal Data Protection in Poland, the Croatian Agency for Protection of Personal Data, theSofia UniversitySt. Kliment Ohridski, the Jagiellonian University and the Italian Group of Volunteers for Minors and Adults (GVMAS)) focused on the future tasks designated to them.

The aim of the project is to create an electronic space - a platform for the exchange of information by data protection authorities as well as the electronic space accessible to all interested parties. This action should provide adults with non-formal education in the area of ​​personal data and privacy protection. The platform will be available through the official website of the data protection authorities, which participate in the project. Educational materials of the planned platform will include e.g. presentations, documents, and the questions and answers section.

The project will last 2 years and will end in August 2019.

The next meeting of the project’s partners is planned for June 2018 in Zagreb.
