New technologies in medical data processing
"New Technologies in Medical Data Processing" is the title of a scientific conference organized by the Personal Data Protection Office. The event will be held online on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10:00 am.
In recent years, we have observed an increasingly rapid pace of implementation of innovative solutions in the medical sector. New technologies are enabling healthcare professionals to not only understand their patients better than ever, but most importantly to provide them with safe and personalized care.
The medical sector relies on personal data, and more specifically, on a special category of personal data - health data, to diagnose and treat patients. Extreme care and caution must be taken when processing such data.
The question that arises, however, is whether the use of innovative solutions in modern healthcare systems can simultaneously ensure data protection and privacy. Invited experts will answer this and other questions.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to discuss the most important challenges for the healthcare industry in the context of medical data processing by modern technologies.
